Comprised of 36 developed countries, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is one of the most impactful intergovernmental organizations in the world. Within OECD, the Observatory of Public Sector Innovation (OPSI) serves as a forum for sharing insights on government innovation. In 2018/2019, OPSI and the United Arab Emirates’ Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation partnered to conduct a global review that explores how governments are taking steps to make innovation a routine and integrated practice across the globe.
